Retired U.S. Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron veteran (proudly served until 2000). For the past 26 years, I've built a career in the flooring industry—handling everything from hands-on installations and sales to team management and senior support roles. Currently working as a Sales Engineer and Senior Support Specialist, I love turning accurate measurements, quality materials, and skilled craftsmanship into beautiful, durable spaces that make homeowners and businesses happy.

What really lights me up? Spending time with my grandkids—they're my favorite crew! When I'm not chasing little ones around, you'll find me out fishing, hitting the golf course, or tackling handyman projects for friends, family, or anyone who needs a reliable fix. Nothing beats the satisfaction of seeing a job well done and a customer's smile at the end result.

Daniel Damato Jr. is the co-owner of Floorable and a proud Jacksonville native. A 12-year Navy veteran, Daniel’s military career was defined by elite service, from combat construction to being hand-selected for a Special Missions Unit executing the nation’s highest priorities.

Following his service, Daniel transitioned into healthcare as a Registered Nurse. Working in the high-stakes environment of the Emergency Department and Special Procedures, he dedicated years to precision, patient advocacy, and life-saving care.

Today, Daniel is bringing that same 'mission-first' discipline and clinical attention to detail to the entrepreneurial world. As a husband to Whitney and father of four boys, he understands the value of a home and the importance of reliability. At Floorable, Daniel combines his diverse professional expertise with a commitment to providing Jacksonville residents with an outstanding product and fair, affordable pricing. Chief Operating Officer

Whitney Damato is a dedicated leader and strategic professional with over 20 years of service in the United States Navy. Throughout a distinguished military career, Whitney rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer, serving in critical roles as both an Ordnance & Armament Technician and an Intelligence Specialist.

In September 2025, Whitney reached a major academic milestone by graduating with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American Public University. This degree complements a deep background in data-driven decision-making, team leadership, and operational efficiency developed during two decades of naval service.
